The Opportunity
An established and respected regional law firm based in Bury is looking to appoint a Commercial/Civil Litigation Solicitor with around 2-3 years' PQE to join their growing litigation team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, forward-thinking firm. You'll manage your own caseload of civil and employment litigation matters while also working closely with senior team members on more complex disputes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Handling a broad mix of civil and employment litigation files with appropriate supervision.
• Running your own caseload from instruction through to resolution, including County Court proceedings and High Court interlocutory hearings.
• Drafting a range of legal documents, including:
• Statements of case, defences, and simple pleadings
• Court forms and applications
• Disclosure lists and witness statements
• Collaborating with the wider litigation team on high-value or multi-party disputes.
• Maintaining high standards of client care and professional conduct.
• Actively participating in networking and local business development to help build the firm's presence and grow your own professional profile.

What We're Looking For

• A qualified solicitor with 2+ years' post-qualification experience in civil litigation and/or employment law.
• Experience representing clients in County Court hearings and familiarity with High Court interlocutory procedures.
• Confidence in drafting court documentation and managing procedural aspects of litigation.
• Strong client communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and commercially minded approach to legal practice.
• A willingness to build local connections and contribute to the firm's ongoing business development efforts.
