Job Opportunity: Solicitor/Senior Solicitor – Commercial Litigation & Defence

Location: Glasgow

Overview:
A leading Scottish law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) to join its litigation defence team. The role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial and liability disputes, including personal injury, property damage and insurance-related claims. You'll work with a diverse client base across sectors, handling cases in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

• 2–5 years’ PQE in litigation, ideally with liability defence experience
• Familiarity with Sheriff Court and Court of Session procedures
• Exposure to personal injury, property, or insurance disputes

Skills:

• Effective case management and drafting
• Able to manage a caseload and support on complex matters
• Clear communicator with a practical, client-focused approach
• Organised and deadline-driven
