Commercial Management Accountant

A growing and well-regarded business in Wakefield is looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. Package:

• £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Providing commercial insights and financial analysis to support business decisions
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue valuations
• Partnering with key stakeholders to drive performance and efficiency
• Ensuring data integrity within financial systems and improving reporting processes
• Supporting period-end processes, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with internal and external audits, including joint ventures
• Driving process improvements and supporting system developments

About You:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Experience in management accounting,
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Commercially minded with an interest in strategy and business performance
