Job Description - Commercial Manager

Group Commercial Manager

This global design and distribution company partners with some of the most sought-after names in homewares and home improvement. They’re looking for a Group Commercial Manager to help grow sales, build brand love and keep customers coming back for more.

You'll work closely with the Group Marketing Director to shape the commercial message and turn it into clear, practical plans that can be rolled out and delivered successfully.

The Job…

The Group Commercial Manager will lead across 4 brands with the aim of finding smart ways to grow the business, whether that’s with existing clients or new ones.

  • Looking at how things run and finding ways to make processes smoother and more effective (being the go-to link between sales, marketing, product, and customer service)
  • Teaming up with different departments to shape clear, consistent value propositions that really connect with potential clients
  • Laying out action plans, setting early revenue goals, and thinking through any risks for new ideas and projects
  • Supporting and guiding cross-functional teams to bring key commercial ideas to life
  • Using data to uncover insights that help make a stronger case and drive better results
  • Keeping up with industry trends and developments, showing up at events, and networking to spark and validate new opportunities

What you’ll bring…

You’ll have hands-on experience leading commercial projects in areas such as sales, trade marketing, business development, category management, commercial management or procurement.

  • You get how businesses tick and know how to spot and grow new opportunities, strong commercial instincts are a must
  • Comfortable with numbers and trends, you can use data to guide smart decisions.
  • You’ve worked on pricing and terms strategies across different sales channels and have a solid grasp of P&Ls
  • You're a team player, whether that’s within your direct team or across departments
  • Confident communicator with great presentation skills (written and spoken), and experienced in pitching new business or delivering training
  • You know how to take big ideas and turn them into clear, actionable plans that actually deliver
  • Super organised, able to juggle priorities and hit deadlines without breaking a sweat
