We are recruiting a Commercial Manager for a well-established social housing group based in Northampton!
As a Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of the repairs and maintenance service, leading a team of 10 to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and compliant services to residents. Leading the commercial function across responsive repairs and maintenance services Managing and developing a team of 10, driving high performance and accountability Overseeing budgets, cost control and financial forecasting to ensure value for money Managing contractor relationships, procurement activities and performance frameworks Ensuring compliance with housing legislation, health & safety standards and regulatory requirements Identifying opportunities for service improvement, efficiency savings and innovation Collaborating with internal teams to enhance service delivery and resident satisfactionThe successful Commercial Manager will have:
Strong experience in a Commercial Manager role within social housing, repairs or maintenance Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment Solid financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and cost control Experience in contractor management and procurement processes Good understanding of compliance, health & safety and regulatory standards A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong leadership skillsThis role would suit an experienced Commercial Manager looking to take the next step in their career within a forward-thinking housing association.
