Ready to take ownership of a major retail account?

I'm working with a growing fresh produce business looking for a Commercial Account Manager to take full ownership of a major UK online grocery retailer account, while also supporting the development of another leading supermarket account alongside a Senior Commercial Manager.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Account Executive, Junior Commercial Manager or established Account Manager who wants greater commercial responsibility and the chance to manage a high-profile retail customer.

The role

You'll be the main commercial contact for your account, building strong relationships with buyers and taking responsibility for its day-to-day performance and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing a major retail account, identifying opportunities to drive sales and profitability.

Building strong relationships with buyers and key customer stakeholders.

Managing pricing, promotions, product setup and commercial reporting.

Analysing sales and performance data to identify opportunities and potential risks.

Working closely with planning, supply chain and operational teams to maintain excellent service and availability.

Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager with the ongoing development of another major supermarket account.

About you

We're looking for someone commercially minded, analytical and confident building customer relationships.

You might already be managing your own account, or you could be an Account Executive or Junior Commercial Manager who's ready to take that next step.

You'll need strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in fresh produce or the wider food industry would be beneficial, but isn't essential. We're equally interested in candidates from other FMCG backgrounds who can demonstrate strong commercial ability and the potential to take ownership of a major retail account.
