 A great opportunity has become available for a Commercial Property Legal Assistant to join a well-established law firm at its Park Gate office in Southampton. Working as part of a busy and friendly Commercial Property team, you will provide essential day-to-day legal and administrative support to Fee Earners across a varied commercial property caseload.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting Fee Earners with a varied commercial property caseload.
Liaising with clients and third parties, including estate agents, landlords and other solicitors.
Opening new files and matters on the firm's Case Management system.
Drafting correspondence, documents and precedents on behalf of Fee Earners.
Completing ID checks for clients.
Providing general administrative and legal support to the Property team as required.
You will ideally have:

At least 2 years plus legal secretarial or legal assistant experience within Property.
Experience supporting commercial property matters.
Strong legal administration and secretarial skills.
Experience with audio typing and digital dictation systems.
Previous experience using a Case Management system.
What they Offer:

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and in the office.
Salary depending on experience - £26,000 - £28,000
25 Days holiday plus bank holidays. Increasing by 1 day per year after 5 years’ service (not exceeding 30 days)
