Key Responsibilities:

? Lead Development Transactions
Oversee a variety of complex commercial property deals with a strong focus on residential land development for housebuilders and developers

? Draft & Negotiate Key Agreements
Expertly handle option agreements, conditional contracts, promotion agreements, infrastructure deeds, section 106 agreements and more

? Conduct Legal Due Diligence
Identify and manage risks across major development sites

Provide concise, high-quality reports to clients and stakeholders

? Finance & Plot Sales
Manage development finance transactions and oversee residential and commercial plot sales from inception to completion

? Client Care & Relationship Building
Maintain and grow long-term client relationships, delivering commercially driven advice to national and regional housebuilders

? Team & Strategy Contribution
Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to the department’s strategic vision and continued growth

What We’re Looking For:

PQE Level: Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification experience in Commercial Property Law
Specialist Expertise: Strong experience in development work, especially residential development land
Legal Drafting: Advanced knowledge of property development agreements and infrastructure documents
Finance Transactions: Proficient in acquisition and development finance
Plot Sales: Experience managing plot sale portfolios is highly desirable
Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to manage transactions, mentor junior lawyers and provide exceptional client service
