This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercial property senior associate to join a high calibre Legal 500 firm in Birmingham, in a role which is already earmarked for future growth. The firm is seeking a self-starting commercial property senior associate to handle a broad range of real estate transactions, with scope to develop new areas of property work as well as acting on instructions from the existing client base. You will have experience of matters including landlord & tenant, acquisitions and disposals of land and properties, lease negotiations and renewals, property finance and also corporate support work, in addition to any particular areas of specialism you might wish to develop yourself.
The opportunity also offers fantastic scope for career progression, with the successful applicant likely to take over as head of the commercial property team in the not-too-distant future as this role is being recruited with succession planning in mind.
You will be an experienced commercial property specialist likely to have accrued a minimum of 7yrs PQE although with scope for this to be up to 20yrs PQE+. A following is not essential, although naturally applicants with portable relationships and referrers will be of particular interest.

Commercial property fee-earning for existing client base, including acquisitions and disposals, lease negotiations and renewals, development work, property finance and corporate support
Supervision of more junior fee-earners

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified commercial property lawyer (solicitor/legal executive) with circa 7+yrs PQE or equivalent
Interested in taking on a team leader/head of department role
Open to business development and networking
Client following (ideal but not essential)
