This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic commercial property team at its Bedford office and become part of a team that is expanding quickly to meet increased client demand.

About The Team:

The commercial property team specialises in serving retail and investment property businesses, while also representing many long-standing and high-profile clients across a variety of other sectors. The teams expertise is frequently relied upon by banks and their customers who regularly seek advice on all aspects of financial transactions, including real estate funding, corporate finance, lending security and recovery and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sale and purchase of commercial properties (freehold or leasehold with vacant possession or subject to occupational tenancies), Buy to Let properties and auction properties
• Landlord and Tenant transactions including: reporting on terms; leases, lease renewals and reversionary leases; lease assignments and licences to surrender, assign, sublet and/or carry out works
• Secured lending, mortgages, re-mortgages and bridging finance
• Dealing with wayleave agreements, deeds of easements and surrender of easements

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive, from NQ-3PQE
• Willingness to participate in business development activities
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
