Commercial Property Solicitor

We’re partnering with a highly respected law firm in Peterborough who are looking to strengthen its Commercial Property team with the addition of an experienced Solicitor (3–5 years PQE). This is a chance to join a firm that truly values collaboration, work-life balance, and career development.

About the Role
This role is perfect for a hands-on solicitor who thrives on variety and autonomy. You’ll be handling a broad caseload across all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and working with high-profile investors and tenants. Exposure or interest in agricultural property work would be an added advantage.

You're commercially astute, approachable, and confident in front of clients. You enjoy building strong relationships and take pride in delivering high-quality service that earns repeat business. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, and you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on complex commercial property transactions
• Representing both private and public sector clients
• Drafting and negotiating leases, contracts, and agreements
• Supporting business development and networking initiatives

Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property
• Strong technical, drafting, and client management skills
• Ability to communicate legal advice clearly and effectively
• Professional, organised, and IT proficient
• Comfortable building and maintaining client relationships
