Commercial Underwriter - SME & Mid-Market

Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits

We're working with a growing MGA in London seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join their London office. This role focuses on existing business across SME and small mid-market risks, including Property, Liability, Package, and Combined products.

Key Responsibilities:Underwrite renewals and mid-term adjustments within authority Manage and retain a portfolio of SME/mid-market commercial business Maintain strong broker relationships and negotiate terms Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and processesRequirements:Solid underwriting experience, ideally in SME/mid-market existing business Good knowledge of commercial products Strong broker-facing and communication skills CII qualifications (or working towards) preferred
