Commercial Underwriter

Are you you an experienced underwriter who is looking for a new challenge or an underwriter who feels they are undervalued and want to work for an insurer who cares and develops their staff and vary rarely loses them.

This role is due to growth and I have placed quite a few people into this business over the past 12 months and they are all really enjoying it.

You will be aligned to a panel of brokers and tasked with proactively developing their account in both new business and renewals.

Working in brokers offices (usually once a week) really helps you understand your broker and what they need. This is also a hybrid role with a mix of office and home working.
The classes of business you will deal with will be cross class so having experience in property and casualty would be ideal.

Size of premiums can be anything up to £250m turnover with premiums ranging from £10k-£1m with average around £20k.
