Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

About the Role

An established manufacturing company is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Body Builder to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business manufacturing high-quality commercial vehicle bodies and specialist transport equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting commercial vehicle bodies, working from engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Build and assemble commercial vehicle bodies and related components.
Install floors, side panels, roofs, doors, tail lifts and ancillary equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Use a range of hand and power tools to complete builds.
Carry out quality inspections throughout the build process.
Work to production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in commercial body building, coachbuilding, vehicle bodybuilding or a similar manufacturing role.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Competent using hand and power tools.
Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
