Commercial Vehicle Technician needed in North London Paying £38058 per annum Ref 1520054

Full time hrs on a permanent basis

Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
• Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Fleet and Equipment Repair: Repair vehicle fleet, plant, and equipment in accordance with legal regulations, lease company’s, and manufacturers’ standards and targets.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our clients, explaining repairs and maintenance in a clear and professional manner.
• Compliance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service.

Role Specifics:

• Support Workshop Manager: The Commercial Vehicle Technician (Level 3) role supports the Workshop Manager by undertaking the maintenance of the fleet, including third-party and plant maintenance processes, ensuring they are carried out effectively to meet service obligations in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a commercial vehicle technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair.
