Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Commercial Technician for an established commercial vehicle dealership in the Northampton area.

This is a strong opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vans and light commercial vehicles, enjoys fault-finding and diagnostics, and wants a role offering a competitive basic salary with excellent earning potential.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• £34,000–£38,000 basic salary
• £55,000–£60,000 OTE
• 1 in 3 Saturdays
• Established commercial vehicle dealership

THE ROLE

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on commercial vehicles and LCVs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Carry out inspections and identify required work
• Work closely with the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and quality
• Complete all work in line with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Maintain accurate job-card and repair documentation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

• Strong hands-on Vehicle Technician experience
• Confidence servicing, maintaining and repairing vans / light commercial vehicles
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Strong attention to detail
• A professional and reliable approach
• The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment

It would be particularly useful if you also have:

• Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician experience
• Main-dealer or manufacturer-franchise experience
• Ford Transit or similar commercial vehicle experience
• Relevant technical qualifications
