£17.64 per hour (Umbrella)/£13.69 per hour (PAYE) Grade dependent on experienceAbout the Role Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a Commissioning Broker to join a fast-paced and impactful team supporting adults and children’s care services. You will play a key role in connecting individuals with appropriate care and support services, working closely with families, professionals, hospitals, and care providers to secure safe, timely, and high-quality placements. This is a rewarding role where your work directly contributes to improving outcomes for vulnerable people across Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities Support safe and timely hospital discharges in collaboration with partner agencies Manage a varied and sometimes complex caseload Commission and source appropriate care packages and placements Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across multiple systems Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Monitor provider performance and ensure quality standards are met Work closely with managers and colleagues to improve processes and service delivery Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbout You You are a proactive, organised, and motivated professional who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys problem-solving.
