Job Description - Commissioning Coordinator

As part of continued growth, the company is expanding its Projects & Commissioning Team. We are seeking a Commissioning Co-ordinator to support the successful delivery of power generation projects by coordinating commissioning documentation, compliance processes, and site readiness. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional from a mechanical or electrical background, eager to gain exposure to complex projects within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Commissioning Co-ordinatorResponsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare commissioning documentation in line with project plans and company standards.
  • Create Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and commissioning document packs in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Liaise with project, commissioning, and design departments to ensure site readiness and compliance.
  • Review completed commissioning documentation and escalate any issues for resolution.
  • Manage and update asset registers, calibration records, and appliance testing schedules.
  • Oversee accurate collation of commissioning records for inclusion in final project handover documents.
Commissioning Co-ordinatorRequirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mechanical and/or electrical discipline.
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • ONC/D, NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical field.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
