Commissioning Engineer

We are supporting a leading, global, hi-tech, business in their search for an additional Commissioning Engineer for a new product line. This is an opportunity to expand your Electrical and Electronic skill set working on machines that are pushing the boundaries of technology in the sector, Working in a team of 10, you will build and test equipment to the highest standards. There will also be scope for you to be involved in R&D projects.

Core duties include:

• Electrically commision products to the required processes, safety and quality standards, undertaking testing and adjustments and completing the signing off processes
• Lead by example in ensuring at all times safe systems of work and thorough due process
• Provide support to Electro-Mechanical Technician colleagues in the product build process as dictated by the manufacturing schedule
• Test and maintain products on behalf of R&D from time to time proving feedback to help develop and improve new and existing product range
• Train less experienced colleagues in electrical commissioning techniques
