As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in taking projects from installation through to successful handover, ensuring systems are tested, validated and operating exactly as designed.
What You'll Do
Lead and coordinate commissioning activities across a variety of water and process treatment projects.
Carry out pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, system start-up, optimisation and performance validation.
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and start-up.
Manage commissioning documentation, test records and handover packs.
Act as the main client contact during commissioning, building strong relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in line with quality, environmental and compliance standards.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Experience commissioning mechanical, electrical, control or process systems within industrial, utilities, water or manufacturing environments.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on-site with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
A proactive approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering projects successfully.
