Overview Innovate: Install, commission, and troubleshoot both new and existing protection systems, automatic transfer systems and control systemsLead: Coordinate commissioning plans, schedules, and performance testing, ensuring efficiency and qualityExcel: Develop and refine commissioning procedures, ensuring technical compliance and quality controlTest: Utilise advanced testing equipment for commissioning and testing various HV assetsCollaborate: Work closely with a team of skilled Engineers, SAPs/ AP’s and support staff, fostering a safe and productive work environmentKey Responsibilities:Reading and understanding complex electrical drawings and relay logic design documentationProducing clear, professional job reportsEnsuring compliance with safety management systems and client safety rulesProviding technical advice and customer communications to support tendering and project managersMaintaining authorisations and adhering to industry best practicesEssential requirements:Proven experience in the Electrical and Distribution IndustryElectrical Authorisation; private network, UKPN, DNOElectrical Engineering qualification and certification; 18th edition / 2391Strong knowledge of H&S and Distribution Safety rulesComputer literacy, particularly in MS Office.Willingness to travel within the UK and work occasional overtime at weekends On offerFlexible Work Environment: Home-based role with travel to sites, core hours from 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:00 on Fridays.Exciting Opportunities: Additional overtime, evening, weekend, and international travel opportunitiesProfessional Growth: Continuous advancement of technical skills and knowledge through collaborative teamwork** We also have some exciting new opportunities coming up and will be excited to talk to AP’s/ SAP’s or Electrical Engineers with Private Network / UKPN / DNO experience**
