Job Description - Commissioning Engineer - HVAC

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be experienced in Trend or Tridium and will have a background in HVAC.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of systems and equipment across various project sites. You'll work closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems
Review design documentation and project specifications to ensure system readiness
Conduct functional and performance testing of installed systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation and reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance where needed
Liaise directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and handover procedures

Requirements:

Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Experienced in the servicing of Building Management Systems
Qualified and experience with Distech/Tridium/Trend Control Systems amongst others. BACnet, SIPP, Modbus system experience desired
CSCS/ECS or JIB registered, ideally ECS BMS technician card holder
A full, clean driving licence is essential
