The Role
As a Commissioning Environmental Engineer, you will be integral to ensuring the project’s environmental safety and compliance. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining environmental controls, monitoring performance, and providing assurance on legal adherence. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams to embed environmental considerations into daily operations, undertake risk assessments, and contribute to emergency preparedness.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven in-depth understanding of UK environmental legislation, permits, and waste management frameworks. Extensive experience in environmental risk assessments, safety inspections, and assurance activities. Strong knowledge of groundwater, surface water, and soil assessment and monitoring. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
