Committee Services Manager

Committee Services Manager – Local Authority – North London

£226- £300+ per day (negotiable depending on experience)

Hybrid working available

6 months initial contract – likely to be extended

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the Committee Services Team, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, customer-focused and high-performing service.

* Oversee support for Council, Cabinet, Scrutiny Committees, Panels, Boards and Working Groups.

* Advise Members and senior officers on governance, constitutional matters, decision-making processes and the Scheme of Delegation.

* Ensure all decisions are legally compliant and made in accordance with statutory requirements and the Council's Constitution.

You must have:

* Significant experience supporting committees, boards, panels or governance bodies.

* Experience of working directly within a local authority
