Commodities Trade Support

Our client, a leading global commodities firm, is looking for a Commodities Trade Support Specialist to join their growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic trading environment, supporting Portfolio Managers and key business functions across global markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing daily trade, cash, and position controls across a range of commodity products
2. Acting as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries efficiently
3. Partnering with Portfolio Managers and internal teams to enhance processes and improve operational workflows
4. Investigating and resolving trade breaks, ensuring timely reconciliation and issue resolution
5. Identifying operational risks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes

You will need to have the following experience:

1. Proven experience working with commodity products and understanding of trade lifecycle processes
2. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
3. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail when handling trade and PnL queries
4. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
5. Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
