Our client is seeking an experienced Communications Business Partner to join a large and complex organisation dedicated to delivering essential services across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving communications that strengthen employee engagement and build brand credibility.
About the Role:
This broad communications role will be instrumental in producing engaging internal and external content. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, marketing teams, and subject matter experts to transform complex information into clear, compelling stories tailored for various audiences and channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft, write, and edit high-quality content for diverse internal and external audiences. Develop engaging stories and communications that align with key business campaigns and priorities. Collaborate with marketing and media teams to create effective content programmes and identify suitable channels. Produce a wide range of external content, including white papers, blogs, social media posts, webinars, podcasts, videos, infographics, and thought- leadership materials. Design and implement internal communication plans to enhance employee engagement. Facilitate effective communication between senior leadership, management teams, and employees. Create communications targeted at frontline and geographically dispersed employees. Generate newsletters, briefing materials, fact sheets, digital content, videos, and other employee communications. Aid employees in understanding organisational strategy and progress while promoting two-way communication. Leverage data and insights to measure campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Oversee relationships with external agencies and suppliers as needed. Mentor junior communications colleagues and share best practises. Capture lessons learned from communications activities to refine future initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Our client is looking for an adept communications professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Communications, PR, or a closely related role, ideally within a B2B or professional services environment. The successful candidate will possess:
A robust track record of creating compelling content that delivers measurable business benefits. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Strong internal communications and employee engagement experience. Proficiency in developing content across a mix of digital and traditional channels. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with confidence in engaging senior leaders and subject matter experts. Solid project management capabilities to juggle multiple priorities effectively. Experience in building relationships within large or complex organisations and managing external agencies. An analytical mindset to utilise data and insights for communication improvements. The ability to translate business strategies into clear, accessible communications.
