Communications Officer

We are constructing a state-of-the-art underground mine to enable the extraction of Polyhalite – a unique multi-nutrient fertiliser – along with the necessary infrastructure both above and below ground that will be required for transport, processing, and distribution.

POLY4 is our flagship multi-nutrient fertiliser product. Made from polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximize their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product.

Join us as a Communications Officer where you will improve our employee engagement through timely, relevant and consistent communications. 

Your duties will include: 

• Generating content for Crop Nutrients internal communications channels ensuring they remain relevant, relatable and effective.
• Maintaining a calendar of key communications priorities.
• Creating compelling stories from across the business for internal and external communications purposes.  
• Internal and external event support as required.
• Find, develop and create eye-catching social media posts and short videos that grab attention and tell our story.
• Manage digital assets including the naming, meta-tagging and digital storage of generated digital assets. 
• Coordinating and managing video/ photography consent arrangements.
• Providing general administrative support.

• A degree in English/Marketing/Agriculture/Journalism.
• Previous experience in a communications role, with a clear understanding of communications methods and channels. 
• Proficient at using SharePoint, Canva and Microsoft Office applications. 
• The ability to generate high quality and appropriate written content that is relevant to key audiences. 
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. 
• Excellent teamworking skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with all stakeholders.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines. 
• A keen eye for detail 

A valid driving licence is required for this role with the ability to work from all site locations as required. 

This role may require a company medical assessment in line with the role requirements. 

A background screening application is also required for this role.
