We've partnered with Scottish SPCA - Scotland's leading voice for animals - rescuing, rehoming, and rehabilitating thousands of animals each year.

We're looking for 2 x Communications Officers to join the talented comms team where you'll play a key role in protecting and enhancing the reputation of Scotland's leading animal welfare charity.

We're looking for...

• A solid grounding in comms - with a particular focus on press, advising senior colleagues and content creation
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills across a mix of formats
• Fantastic communications skills aimed at a variety of audiences
• An understanding of the news landscape
• A strong interest in animal welfare
• Driving licence would be beneficial here

You will be…..

• Leading the delivery of proactive and reactive PR activity
• Identifying and developing media opportunities aligned with campaigns, services and strategy
• Supporting the delivery of the organisation's communications strategy
• Developing media campaigns
• Supporting project teams with comms planning and delivery for key campaigns
• Creating engaging copy cross a range of channels
• Building longstanding relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
