Job Description - Community Associate

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re on a mission to make health and wellness fairer and better for everyone by putting power and choice back into the hands of the people that make the difference; the health and wellness practitioners. We do that by giving them flexible access to our network of state-of-the-art facilities and powerful support services, with no long-term tie-ins or additional overheads.

We are a community where London’s leading self-employed wellness practitioner come together under one roof to unlock their potential, collaborate and grow. Our clubs are used by 40+ different disciplines including personal trainers, physios, therapists, life coaches, nutritionists, dentists and doctors.

We currently operate three central London clubs: Soho, Liverpool Street and Marylebone and we have plans to rapidly expand in 2024. Things are about to get even more exciting and the potential of what you can achieve with us is unlimited.

What you’ll do

Our Community Associates are the first point of contact for our members and their guests and this role is absolutely pivotal to the success of our clubs. You’ll be the face of our company, being the first point of contact for anyone coming into the club and building long lasting relationships with our members and play a crucial role in ensuring they have a great experience with every visit to our clubs.

There are three key components to this role:

Deliver best-in-class service

- welcome members and guests with genuine warmth and care. Be one step ahead by naturally anticipating their needs and understanding their different requirements and expectations.

Maintain high standards

- conscientiously follow our club operating procedures, brand & behaviour standards and complete daily/weekly tasks, checklists and walk-arounds. Ensure all areas within the club are clean and presentable, co-ordinating with colleagues, contractors and cleaning team to resolve issues.

Support a thriving community

- act as a community promoter and ambassador. Foster positive member experiences, behaviours and interactions. Seek member feedback to improve our services and their experiences.

What we’re looking for

You will have a keen interest in being the best version of yourself and looking for ways to learn and improve. Fitness and/or wellbeing mean something to you.

Ideally you'll have some experience in retail or hospitality, but leisure is ideal. A friendly approachable manner, good understanding of customer service and a passion for delivering high quality service are essential - you're energised by people and are happy to be the face of our business.

Community Associates are responsible for opening and closing the clubs, so these are shift based positions. Early shifts require someone to be on an early shift of 5.45am (to open the club at 6am) – 1.15pm or a late shift of 1.15pm – 9.15pm (on site).

We are committed to ensuring equality, diversity and equity across all of our recruitment practices and we encourage applications from individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. We believe that strength lies in differences, not similarities; we recognise the unique perspective everyone contributes to our team.
