About the Role
Health Now Complex Care is urgently recruiting experienced Community Care Assistants with PEG experience to support a new community-based care package in Grimsby, launching within the next two weeks.
We are looking for reliable, compassionate and confident carers who have experience supporting individuals with complex care needs and can deliver safe, person-centred care in their own home.

Key Responsibilities
Providing person-centred care and support within the service user's home.
Supporting with PEG-related care in line with the individual's care plan and your assessed competencies.
Assisting with moving and handling safely, following the care plan and appropriate procedures.
Supporting the individual with their daily care needs while maintaining their dignity, privacy and independence.
Working collaboratively with a second care assistant to provide safe, consistent support.
Following all relevant care plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly to the appropriate team.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Previous PEG care experience.
Moving and handling experience and relevant training.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as this is a community-based role.
A caring, reliable and professional approach.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality care.
Candidates must be willing to complete any required PEG training and competency assessments before commencing duties on this package. Previous experience does not replace the requirement for package-specific training and competency sign-off.
Shift Pattern
The package will require two care assistants for scheduled calls throughout the day, including:
Morning calls – 60 minutes.
Lunchtime calls – 45 minutes.
Teatime calls – 45 minutes.
Bedtime calls – 45 minutes.
Exact call times are to be confirmed. There may also be opportunities to pick up additional community care calls in the local area.
We are looking to build a reliable team with good availability across the week to ensure safe staffing and continuity of care.
