Community Mental Health Social Worker

This is a 6-month+ contract within a Community Mental Health Team, offering a competitive rate of £36 - £39 per hour, hybrid working and the flexibility to consider condensed hours. Whether you are an experienced AMHP or a Mental Health Social Worker looking to develop your skills in this area, this could be an excellent next step. AMHP status is preferred, but not essential.

The role

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will work in a clinical Community Mental Health Team environment, supporting service users to receive safe, effective and person-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing packages of care and adapting support to meet changing needs
Holding a manageable caseload of adults with mental health needs
Completing assessments, care planning, reviews and statutory work
Working collaboratively with health professionals and wider multidisciplinary teams
Supporting and supervising junior colleagues where required
Contributing to high-quality, strengths-based mental health practice
Participating in AMHP-related work where applicable

About you

To be considered, you will need:
 
Social Work qualification
Current professional registration
Full UK driving licence
AMHP qualification or experience is desirable, but not essential
