JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must:

Be an NMC-registered nurse.
Have previous Community Nursing experience.
Have access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence.
Hold appropriate business-use motor insurance for community visits.

The required competencies include:

Catheterisation:
Urethral Male
Urethral Female
Suprapubic
Blocked Urethral
Blocked Suprapubic

Insulin administration:
Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM)
Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM)

Compression Bandaging
Pleurex/Rocket Drains
Phlebotomy
Syringe Driver Set-up
Verification of Expected Death
Wound Care
Safeguarding awareness for adults receiving care at home

Rates

Days Approx. £24 per hour, dependent on experience & client approval
Nights/Sat Approx. £28 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
Sundays/bank holidays Approx. £35 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
