Location: Epsom

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Temporary Ongoing Position

Monday to Friday

Must have D1 License Entitlement

Pin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Community Transport / Meals at Home Driver to join a well-established community service based in Epsom.

This is a rewarding role supporting vulnerable members of the local community by providing reliable transport and, where required, delivering meals to individuals in their own homes. The majority of the role will focus on community transport, although flexibility to assist with meal deliveries would be advantageous.

Working Hours:

* Monday: 08:30 – 16:30

* Tuesday: 08:30 – 17:30

* Wednesday: 08:30 – 16:30

* Thursday: 08:30 – 17:30

* Friday: 08:30 – 17:30

Duties:

* Transport members of the local community safely to and from appointments, day centres and other destinations

* Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle where required

* Deliver Meals at Home to customers when required

* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks

* Maintain accurate records and delivery paperwork

* Provide excellent customer service and represent the organisation professionally

* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers at all times

* Adhere to all road traffic legislation and company procedures

Requirements:

* Full UK Driving Licence with D1 entitlement

* Previous driving experience preferred

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Caring, patient and reliable approach

* Ability to work independently

* An enhanced DBS check is required (this can be arranged if you do not currently hold one)
