Company Accountant

We are working with an established and well known Bradford based employer on a Company Accountant role to support the Managing Director.

This is a hands on role responsible for the day to day finances of the company and this will include;

• Timely preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets, to the Managing Director.
• Maintenance of an updated fixed asset register.
• Calculation of accruals, prepayments.
• Supervision of cash flow, conducting bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Processing weekly payroll.
• Monitoring aged creditors payments.
• Managing accounts receivable, from credit assessments to payment collections.
• Maintaining relationships with banks, auditors, and key stakeholders, coordinating annual audit procedures.
• VAT returns.
