Company Accountant - Hybrid

We are pleased to be working with an excellent company located in Blackburn who are looking for a company accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be joining 5 in accounts and work alongside the financial controller within the business.

Due to significant growth over the past 12 months this role is to support the group of companies with the following duties;

• Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
• P&L, Budgets and forecasting
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• VAT and CIS returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• General ledger reporting
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with monthly financial reports
• Assisting the ledgers clerks if needed
• Other adhoc duties within finance

Skills:

• Part or fully qualified accountant
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience dealing with external parties
