Compensation & Benefits Specialist

This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating and managing the employee benefits programme and overseeing the payroll process in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external providers. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of benefits strategy, employee wellbeing initiatives, and payroll accuracy for a prestigious London-based office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for benefits and pension-related queries from staff.
• Partner with internal finance teams to ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.
• Support the delivery of the firm's benefits strategy in collaboration with senior leadership and external consultants.
• Benchmark benefits and compensation offerings to ensure market competitiveness.
• Manage new benefit implementations and changes to existing packages, including communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate the annual renewal and mid-year benefits window processes.
• Maintain accuracy and functionality of the HRIS and benefits platforms.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting of benefits costs.
• Support salary benchmarking for annual reviews.
• Oversee employee underwriting processes and induction presentations for new joiners.
• Act as the key liaison for all benefit providers, brokers, and administrators.
• Contribute to the Wellness Committee, ensuring alignment with employee wellbeing objectives.
• Lead or participate in ad-hoc HR systems and benefits projects.

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in a compensation and/or benefits-focused HR role, ideally within professional or financial services.
• Knowledge of employee benefits systems.
• Strong Excel skills and experience running reports and working with large datasets.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
