An exciting opportunity to leverage deep research expertise and strong business acumen at a renowned US law firm with a growing presence in London. Our client is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to support business development initiatives by delivering actionable market and competitive intelligence. This role involves transforming complex information into clear, compelling reports that drive firm strategy and inform key business development decision-making.

• 09:30-17:30 working hours

Competitive Intelligence Analyst Key Responsibilities:

• Research, analyse and write reports on a wide variety of company, business, industry, markets, and/or competitor data to support the firm’s business development and strategic initiatives
• Utilise a wide array of fee-based or online research tools including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Intelligize, Deal Point Data, Pacer, Lexis, and Westlaw
• Provide research assistance to Business Development and attorneys to support practice or client-related projects as assigned
• Keep metrics on work completed, for monthly and annual reports
• Conduct factual research as well as document organisation and production.
• Provide search results and findings in a clear and organised manner to attorneys

Competitive Intelligence Analyst Skills & Requirements:

• At least 3 years of recent research experience gained in a reputable global law firm setting
• Highly tuned research and analysis skills, with the ability to analyse information from a variety of sources and draw conclusions to provide actionable intelligence
• Strong knowledge of print and online legal and business research resources, including Bloomberg Law and Lexis/Westlaw suite of products focused on UK and US law
• Thorough knowledge of M&A and private equity transactions and the ability to differentiate between multiple deal types and strategies
