Experienced Complex Care Worker Required

Clover Care Group is looking for an experienced Complex Care Worker to join a dedicated care package supporting a young adult in Norwich.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a calm, patient and experienced care professional who understands that effective complex care is about seeing the person, not just their care needs.

The individual we support has autism, a severe learning disability and ADHD and is non-verbal, using signs, gestures and behaviour to communicate. They require a consistent, structured and person-centred approach from staff who can recognise subtle changes in behaviour and understand what these may be communicating.

About the role

The successful Complex Care Worker will provide support with:

* Personal care and daily living activities

* Supporting communication through signs, gestures and established communication methods

* Following structured daily routines

* Supporting sensory regulation and reducing sensory overload

* Positive behaviour support

* Eating and drinking

* Medication administration in line with the MAR chart

* Monitoring bowel health and supporting with IBS and constipation

* Community and social activities

* Maintaining a calm, safe and predictable environment

* Accurate care records, observations and handovers

* Working closely with family and the wider Clover Care team

What we're looking for

Previous professional complex-care experience is essential.

We're looking for care professionals who are:

* Calm, patient and compassionate

* Confident supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities

* Comfortable supporting someone who is non-verbal

* Able to understand and respond to behaviour as a form of communication

* Consistent in their approach and able to follow detailed care plans

* Confident providing personal care

* Experienced with medication administration

* Able to recognise changes in presentation, behaviour or physical wellbeing

* Comfortable working within a structured routine

* Reliable and committed to providing consistent care

You do not need to have experience with every aspect of this package. Training, induction and package-specific competency assessment will be provided, but applicants must already have a solid background in professional complex care.
