Pay: GBP95.89- 108.21 per day

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a complex needs specialist in Oldbury - This is an opportunity for someone wanting to make a difference to young persons life, providing holistic care, nurture and support. The ideal candidate has a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Qualification. Would like to work with SEN Primary children and can do 8.30- 3.30 Monday- Friday.
Students are supported to re-engage with learning, develop practical skills, and work towards emotional support. As a learning support assistant, the candidate will have experience in either PMLD, complex needs, SLD or ASD.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
· Position: LSA
· Setting: Complex needs
· Start date: October 2026 (possibly sooner)
· Duration / Likely Duration: Long-term
· Contract type: Temp-to-Perm
· Full time/part time: Full-Time
· Pay: From GBP95- 108.21 per day (depending on experience and quals)
· Working hours: 08.30-15.30
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Level 3 in either Health and Social, EYFS or Teaching Assistant/ SEN
· Level 2 in either Health and Social, EYFS or Teaching Assistant/ SEN
· SEN knowledge either personal or professional
· Physically fit to support mobility issues
· Nurturing and passionate individual
· Knowledge of SEN support
· Care or school experience/ environments

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced Child/ Adult Barred List DBS registered with the update service, or be willing to apply
· Provide a minimum of two professional, child-related references
