We are seeking an Efficiency & Compliance Manager to oversee our Quality Assurance team and ensure all products meet compliance standards. This role involves working closely with the Planning and Packing Manager and the General Packhouse Manager, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing packaging waste, and maintaining high standards of production and compliance.

• Conduct Technical Compliance checks on suppliers, customers, and growers.
• Manage External Pest Contractors and complete internal audits according to schedule.
• Analyse root causes for customer complaints and product nonconformance.
• Prepare and distribute Quality Service Level and CCPM information, along with a monthly shelf-life analysis report to the Senior Management team.
• Organise yearly calibration arrangements and prepare for scheduled Management and Compliance meetings.
• Conduct GMP and Hygiene checks, ensuring all compliance, quality assessments, and traceability documentation meet BRCGS standards.
• Monitor the efficiency of Production teams, providing necessary training, support, and feedback to enhance performance.
• Support the QA Team and assist Line Leaders in reducing packaging waste.
• Deputize for the Planning & Packing Manager, covering various areas including production control and customer specifications.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure staff compliance with all company policies and health & safety rules.

• Proven experience in a production environment, preferably with a focus on fresh produce.
• Familiarity with efficiency monitoring; LEAN qualification is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Proficient in Excel and competent in other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Level 2 Hygiene and food safety, and Level 2 HACCP.
