Job Description - Compliance Administrator

Compliance Administrator

Location: Head Office (Oxfordshire)

Salary: £30,000

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Sector: Energy, Support/Compliance

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual looking to play a pivotal role in the energy sector? We are looking for a Compliance Administrator within the renewable energy sector to bridge the gap between Trading and Operations teams. This role is key in ensuring the smooth coordination of maintenance schedules, outages and optimisation activities across fleet of power stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate seamlessly across teams: Be the key link between Trading and Operations, attending operations meetings and updating outage and maintenance schedules.
  • Work closely with Field Engineers: Liaise daily to log planned outages and emergency maintenance, ensuring all changes are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Inform customers of upcoming optimisation events, share performance and maintenance reports and handle queries with professionalism.
  • Manage incidents and compliance, Produce incident reports
  • Log and resolve system issues and assist in trade validation and reconciliation.
  • Administrative support, organise meetings, maintain accurate records, support documentation and agreements and ensure the smooth operation of team processes.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years in office administration, preferably in energy, utilities, trading, engineering or operations.
  • Clear, professional phone and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with engineers, traders and customers.
  • High standards for accuracy and data integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, Word) and open to learning internal systems.
  • Proactive, calm under pressure and confident in escalating critical matters.


Desirables:

  • Experience using incident or ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA)
  • Awareness of compliance in Trading or Utilities
  • Project coordination capabilities
  • Basic reporting or data visualisation skills (e.g., Power BI or Excel dashboards)
