Role Overview
Centum Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Compliance Administrator to support the business in meeting all regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance across projects, contractors, and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update compliance records for employees, contractors, and subcontractors
Ensure all documentation (certifications, training records, insurances, right-to-work checks, etc.) is valid and up to date
Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a compliance perspective
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation
Monitor compliance with health & safety, industry standards, and client-specific requirements
Liaise with project managers, HR, and external bodies to resolve compliance issues
Track expiry dates and proactively request renewals of documentation
Support continuous improvement of compliance processes and systems
Handle general administrative duties related to compliance and governance

Experience
Previous experience in an administrative or compliance-related role
Experience within an engineering, construction, or technical environment (desirable)
Experience managing documentation, records, and compliance data
Exposure to audits or regulatory requirements (desirable)
Personal Attributes/Skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues
Qualifications
GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (essential)
Relevant administrative or compliance qualification (desirable)
