Lawes Consulting Group are working exclusively with an award-winning Lloyds broker. Due to the success of the company they are looking to grow their compliance team and are on the lookout for a compliance assistant in their Essex office.

With this opportunity you would be required to ensure the best interests of their customers are met and regulatory requirements are satisfied. The company will support their employee’s wellbeing and professional development with regular social endeavours. They also participate in social activities to support the local communities.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and drafting MI for compliance reports.
• Record breaches of internal procedures, escalating important items and trends
  to compliance management.

• Reviewing and submitting new clients and insurers for approval through various due diligence checks as part of company risk mitigation plan.
• Preparing the necessary paperwork for approval, conducting Sanction checks & contacting clients and Brokers as necessary to obtain outstanding documentation.
• Reviewing all company procedures & ensuring that these are FCA compliant

• Ensure possible sanction matches are being addressed by the business and
  offer advice where needed.
• Deliver compliance input for the development and alteration of client documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 Years within Compliance
