Compliance Assurance Officer

The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Assurance Officer:

• Conduct risk-based second-line assurance activities, including delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
• Provide feedback on the Consumer Duty Management Pack and oversee compliance-related matters
• Support reporting requirements to Executive and Board Committees
• Review compliance policies, processes, and financial promotions
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance regulatory and customer outcomes

Required knowledge and experience for the Compliance Assurance Officer role:

• Compliance experience specifically in providing second-line assurance is essential, preferably within the insurance sector
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
• Excellent analytical and investigation skills
• Attention to detail and proficiency in written reporting
• Detailed understanding of the FCA handbook
