Compliance Business Partner

This role is with a global insurance brokerage for its UK Specialty Insurance division. This is a high-impact, senior advisory role with full compliance ownership of a technically complex and high-profile area of the business.

You’ll operate as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, offering credible, proportionate compliance oversight while ensuring regulatory obligations are met across specialty insurance lines.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to step into a visible, standalone role, providing leadership on all regulatory and governance matters within a highly dynamic and evolving part of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary compliance contact for the UK Specialty Insurance business
- Attend and contribute to governance forums, regulatory committees, and internal stakeholder meetings
- Advise on emerging regulatory developments and help shape strategic responses
- Provide credible, proportionate challenge and guidance across business initiatives
- Develop and maintain effective compliance policies, controls, and processes
- Support the wider compliance advisory team by sharing insights and best practice
- Monitor and interpret regulatory change, assessing business impact and ensuring readiness
- Represent compliance across senior business leadership forums

What We’re Looking For
- Proven compliance experience within the London Market (insurance broker or insurer)
- Deep working knowledge of the FCA Handbook and UK regulatory framework
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and influencing at senior levels
- Comfortable operating independently in a strategic, advisory-led capacity
- Confident attending and presenting at governance and regulatory meetings
- Commercial awareness and a balanced, pragmatic approach to compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

£100,000 - £110,000 base salary
