Job Description - Compliance Controls, Comms and Training Strategy Manager

You\u2019ll help define our culture, strengthen governance, and create experiences that keep every colleague informed, engaged, and empowered to make great decisions. This is your opportunity to leave a legacy in a brand\u2011new organisation built for the future. \n \nYou will:\n\n * Lead the entire lifecycle of our \u201cDoing What\u2019s Right\u201d mandatory training programme scheduling, tracking, improving, and future\u2011proofing it using the best technologies and learning practices.\n * Refresh content and delivery approaches to make training more engaging, accessible, and aligned to how people learn today.\n * Own and coordinate the annual Risk \u0026 Compliance planning process and ensure it stays strategic, risk\u2011informed, and fully embedded across functions.\n * Publish the Annual Compliance Plan and act as a trusted partner to leaders and teams across VodafoneThree.\n * Create and deliver a year\u2011round Communications Plan - shaping timelines, templates, tone of voice, and quality standards.\n * Produce regular updates on our Engage and heritage systems, plus an end\u2011of\u2011year All Hands video celebrating achievements and showcasing key KPIs.\n * Lead the transformation of our Compliants campaign into a new, creative strategy that inspires safe risk\u2011taking, working with an external agency from concept to rollout.\n * Support teams with compliance\u2011related business continuity, budget tracking, reporting, and the risk \u0026 compliance records management strategy.\n * Partner with senior leaders to prepare and justify submissions for Capex budgets and follow\u2011up business cases.\n\n\n\n## \n\nWho you are \n \n\n\n * You\u2019ll bring experience in risk, compliance, governance, or similar roles within regulated industries.\n * You have a strong grasp of compliance frameworks, governance principles, and regulatory obligations.\n * You\u2019re skilled at planning, commissioning, and evaluating large\u2011scale training\u2014including e\u2011learning and LMS management.\n * You simplify complex topics and communicate clearly across audiences, channels, and levels.\n * You partner confidently with leaders and stakeholders, influencing decisions and embedding best practice.\n * You\u2019re comfortable challenging assumptions and strengthening governance through informed, constructive challenge.\n * You\u2019re passionate about operational excellence and process improvement, using research and colleague feedback to remove pain points.\n * You design and deliver strategic communications that help people self\u2011serve and stay engaged.\n * You have a growth mindset\u2014curious, collaborative, inclusive, and quick to adapt to change.\n * You take ownership, deliver at pace, and stay focused on long\u2011term vision while managing day\u2011to\u2011day detail.\n * You enjoy connecting with others, encouraging ideas, supporting innovation, and executing plans efficiently.\n\n\n\n \n \nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly? \nWe know that everyone is unique, with multiple aspects to their identity and different experiences behind them.
