Compliance Coordinator Leicester Permanent Up to £30,000 per annum Full Time - Monday to Friday

Are you organised, detail-focused and experienced in planned maintenance and compliance? We are supporting a well-established Leicester based business in their search for a Compliance Coordinator to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of coordinating planned maintenance and compliance services, with a good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements. An engineering or technical background would be advantageous, but is not essential.
As Compliance Coordinator, you will help ensure the business remains compliant across a range of important areas, including fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos management, gas and electrical compliance. You will coordinate planned maintenance and inspections, maintain accurate records and work closely with contractors and service providers to make sure everything is completed within the required timescales.
The role would suit someone who is organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail and a practical approach to managing compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities of the Compliance Coordinator role: • Coordinating planned maintenance, inspections and servicing • Monitoring compliance schedules and ensuring works are completed on time • Maintaining accurate compliance records and documentation • Supporting compliance across fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas and electrical services • Liaising with contractors, engineers and external service providers • Arranging inspections, servicing and remedial works where required • Following up on outstanding actions and ensuring issues are addressed • Keeping compliance information and maintenance records up to date • Supporting the business with legal and regulatory compliance requirements
The ideal Compliance Coordinator candidate will have: • Previous experience in planned maintenance, compliance or a similar role • Experience coordinating contractors, inspections or maintenance services • An understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements • Strong organisational and administrative skills • Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills • Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with contractors and internal teams • A practical and proactive approach to problem solving • An engineering, facilities or technical background would be advantageous, but is not essential
