Compliance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Engineer to join our client's engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong understanding of compliance, safety, quality and engineering standards to play a key role in ensuring products, equipment and processes meet relevant regulatory and industry requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, quality and management teams to identify compliance requirements, investigate issues and ensure appropriate standards and procedures are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring engineering products, equipment and processes comply with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.

*

Reviewing technical documentation, specifications, drawings and certification.

*

Supporting product and process compliance throughout the engineering lifecycle.

*

Carrying out inspections, audits and compliance assessments.

*

Identifying potential compliance risks and implementing corrective actions.

*

Maintaining accurate compliance records and technical documentation.

*

Supporting internal and external audits.

*

Investigating non-conformances and assisting with root-cause analysis.

*

Working closely with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve compliance issues.

*

Keeping up to date with changes to relevant legislation, standards and industry requirements.

*

Providing technical guidance and support on compliance matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working in an engineering compliance, quality or regulatory environment.

*

An engineering qualification or relevant technical experience.

*

Strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulations and compliance requirements.

*

Experience with audits, inspections and technical documentation.

*

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

*

Excellent attention to detail.

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

*

The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

*

A proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues.

Relevant qualifications, professional memberships or experience within a regulated engineering environment would be advantageous.
