Sellick Partnership is currently partnered with a fast-growing technology business to recruit a Compliance Lead on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation specialising in external workforce management, helping businesses manage the compliance and risk associated with contractors, consultants, agencies, and other external workers.

The role will focus heavily on IR35, employment status and worker classification, with the successful candidate acting as a key point of contact for clients. The business uses AI technology to support the assessment process, meaning you will provide the technical oversight, sense-check assessments and advise clients on the appropriate approach.

The Compliance Lead will be responsible for:

Acting as a subject matter expert on IR35, off-payroll working and employment status
Reviewing and overseeing AI-supported worker classification and IR35 assessments
Providing clear, practical advice to clients on assessment outcomes and compliance requirements
Managing day-to-day client relationships and supporting clients through onboarding and BAU
Reviewing and drafting contracts and service agreements where required
Supporting the continued development of the platform through client feedback and market insight
Helping clients identify and manage wider workforce compliance risks
Representing the business in client meetings, training sessions and industry events
Supporting the company's growth as it expands into new international markets

The Ideal Experience for the Compliance Lead:

Strong practical experience in IR35 or worker classification
Experience gained within an umbrella company, professional services or similar environment would be advantageous
Confident providing advice directly to clients and explaining complex compliance issues clearly
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and challenge assessment outcomes
Self-sufficient, proactive and comfortable working in a growing business
Commercial and solutions-focused approach to client relationships
Quality of relevant experience is more important than length of experience

The Associate Wordings Manager's benefits include:

£35,000 - £45,000, DOE
25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
