This is a rare opportunity to join a highly specialised sports and media law firm as their new Compliance Manager. The firm is nationally and internationally recognised for its expertise in this niche sector, with an impressive client base and consistent recognition in leading legal directories.

The Role

As Compliance Manager, you'll work closely with Partners and the wider team to oversee the firm's compliance function. This is a newly created and hands-on role, giving you scope to shape processes and add real value.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing client onboarding and engagement processes
• Managing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions procedures
• Delivering compliance training for fee earners
• Handling file opening and closure
• Supporting day-to-day compliance and operational requirements

What They're Looking For

• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across a professional services environment
• Strategic thinker with initiative and a proactive approach
• High levels of integrity and a strong work ethic
• Previous compliance or risk management experience within legal or financial services is desirable
